Divining the Landscapes of Ancient Leitrim
– a talk by Alanna Moore
Venue – Dromahair Library, Co. Leitrim, Ireland
Alanna Moore, an Australian living in Leitrim, will describe her discoveries that resulted in her eleventh and latest book: ‘Legendary Leitrim, exploring north-west Ireland’. In Ireland she became acquainted with her own ancestral ‘Dreamtime’, with her perceptions and understanding stemming from an indigenous Australian perspective.
Alanna will discuss some of the reference books that illuminated her research into Leitrim’s heritage and also describe impressions of subtle influences at work in its landscapes, from a geomancer’s perspective.
